Ascend was founded in response to the national housing crisis during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ascend2Housing’s founders, John Vasquez and Doug Smith, vowed to make housing more attainable in Colorado. They brought together the financial strength and operational excellence of our founding partners’ experience in delivering tailored solutions for first-time homebuyers, workforce families, and age-qualified residents (55+), which started in Colorado.
Ascend2Housing puts the community at the center of its processes and is constantly evaluating new ways to engage and build community participation.
